SaberSim vs Stokastic

SaberSim and Stokastic are both simulation-based DFS tools for DraftKings and FanDuel. SaberSim simulates each game and feeds the results into its own optimizer. Stokastic simulates the contest itself and ranks lineups by simulated ROI, and it includes those contest sims on its cheapest plans.

Which one fits you

SaberSim

  • Pick SaberSim if you play several sports, including tennis, F1 or esports, and want one monthly price that covers all of them.
  • Pick SaberSim if you also play on Yahoo or OwnersBox.
  • Pick SaberSim if you want coaching built in: a private Discord and live office hours on YouTube Monday to Saturday.

Stokastic

  • Pick Stokastic if you mainly play one sport and want contest sims without paying $297 a month. NFL Core is $149.95 a month.
  • Pick Stokastic if you'd rather pay by the week. NFL Core is $44.95 a week, and NASCAR and MMA start at $19.95.
  • Pick Stokastic if you want to try contest sims free before you pay.

Method

SaberSim says it simulates every game thousands of times and feeds those sims straight into its optimizer, so correlation comes from the game scripts. Stokastic's Contest Sims simulate the contest tens of thousands of times, use projected ownership to model the field and rank each lineup by simulated ROI for the payout you enter. Stokastic says it has no separate optimizer; the Sims build the lineup pool.

Where contest sims sit

SaberSim lists contest sims on Ultimate, $297 a month, which sims each lineup against a representative contest 100,000 times and reports ROI, cash rate and win rate. Starter, $97 a month, lists the optimizer, live ownership and late swap. Every Stokastic DFS plan includes Contest Sims: NFL Core builds and sims up to 2,000 lineups, and NFL Max ($229.95 a month) goes to 10,000 on classic slates and 50,000 on showdown.

Price and billing

SaberSim bills monthly, and Starter includes an optimizer for every sport it supports. Stokastic sells each sport separately by the week or month, or all sports together as All Access Core for $229.95 a month. Its cheapest DFS plans are NASCAR and MMA Core at $19.95 a week.

Sports and sites

SaberSim lists optimizers for 17 sports and esports, including tennis, F1, WNBA, college basketball, soccer, League of Legends, CS and Call of Duty. It works with DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo and OwnersBox. Stokastic sells DFS plans for 8 sports: NFL, college football, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, NASCAR and MMA, and describes its tools as built for DraftKings and FanDuel.

Trying before you pay

SaberSim's Starter trial costs $7 for 7 days. Stokastic says you can build a pool and run a contest sim free before subscribing. It also says late swap and custom projections are paid features, so the free path shows the method, not the full tool.
